The Great Balloon Race

So my mom really, really wanted to go to the Reno balloon race. So my parents drove up to Reno last weekend. We all got up at 4:30 am to witness the race. We made coffee, grabbed blankets (I put on my happy hat!) and away we went. The coolest part - even though there is no pictures of it - was the dawn patrol. It is before dawn and about six of the balloons go up and light up it is so nice! I was amazed at how many balloons there were, they ski was full of them. I was glad we went.
