Commercial

I have spent the last week working pre-production on a show commercial here in Reno. We did locations, casting, crafty...For some reason the producer chose Duane to be one of the actors. I don't think this is what they had in mind for "fitness attire".

Landscaping

I came home the other day and this is the card I found on the front door. It is for a landscaping/ lawn service company. I was wondering what part of our yard made them think we needed their services...was it the fake grass they walked by or all the fake flowers that are growing out of rocks?

Tires

Duane's mom needed 4 new tires for her car. Dupree needed 2 new tires for his truck, Dupree also needed 2 new tires for his boat trailer. So we went to get them...Gracie was the one who suffered with 8 tires in the back of my explorer there was no room for her!

Gummy Bears

I love gummy bears! We always have a jar of them on the coffee table, they are so good. The best ones are from Winco. Well the other night I fell asleep on the couch and Duane was eating some gummy bears. He decided to give them to me while I was sleep and who would have guessed, I ate them while I was sleeping! I LOVE THEM!

DUPREE!!!!!!

Can you imagine if this was Dupree's home? Then he'd actually have to live WITH us. Hopefully this is a warning to him...no more hot butter.

AnyWho

There are no words....

Welcome to Tahoe....

The fantastic olive man was in south Lake Tahoe tonight doing a show. Let me just tell you the gallery pulled out all the stops for Michael Godard. There were drinks and food and balloons and a ton of people. We had a great time!

Carrots

Gracie loves, I mean LOVES carrots. We sat on the couch last night and ate a whole bag of baby carrots. She was just happily chewing away. But when I looked down at the carpet and saw little bits of carrot I realized she probably just liked the ranch dip they were coated in!

The Scott Family

My sister, Catherine; her husband, Jeff; Bentley and one in the oven!

New Living Room

We got a new tv. It took the better part of one night and the next day to get the fish tank drained and moved, the box tv out in the garage, the new tv hung on the wall and the bracket straight and for the cords hidden! Duane did a great job!

Dupree's Licence Plate Frames

Dupree recently acquired two new licence plate frames, so he has options. One says "I'd rather play paintball" and the other one, my personal favorite says "I'd rather be blading"! Apparently sport chalet was giving them away for free.

Fast Track

For those of you who don't live in California there is a system called Fast Track. It is a way to easy the commutes over the bridges all around the bay area. You basically buy this little box, put it in your car and it registers every time you go through the tolls. You no longer have to carry cash or wait in the long line, because Fast Track users have their own lanes. Well early in the morning (4am) there are very few cash only lanes, most of them are fast Track, less staff to work I guess. Well the cash lanes are on the outside, very difficult to get to if your in the middle. So here's the story....Duane and Dupree were fishing a tournament at Oroville, I got a job in San Francisco on a commercial, well I had to get there, so instead of diving the motor home there I took Travis's truck. I left Oroville around 3am and started the drive over. Well when I got to the Bay Bridge I was just driving, I had my four dollars out to pay the toll and all of a sudden I realized that all the cash lanes were on the outside and I was in the middle, there was no way to move over there. So I just went through the Fast Track lane. I know that there were camera so I went real slow waving the four dollars,, thinking that the camera operator would realize I was trying to pay and would not send Travis a ticket (I was in his truck after all) Well apparently I went to too slow, they didn't get a photo of the four dollars, BUT they did get a few shots of his licence plate. A ticket follow, unfortunately for Travis, living in a motor home in random parking lots across the west coast, is not conducive to the mail system, by the time he got the ticket all the late fees made it a $75 ticket. (I did this on May 15th, he got the ticket 2 days ago!) Oopsie!
