Gracie

Gracie loves the sun. Even if it means laying on the asphalt in a parking lot!

Shopping

I love a good day of shopping. We don't have a Nordstrom in Reno so every time we go to Vegas or Roseville, Nordstrom here I come. Well today was not a productive shopping day! I spent more money on tank tops at Target then I did at Nordstrom, oh well.

Okay...The Fishing Tournament

So this tournament was a big deal...$4,000 entry fee, all the way to Lake Havasu. Big time and money investment. So day one Duane does very well, right in the middle of the pack, respectable, it can only get better. Day two, the wind is gusting at 40 miles a hour, no one does well. he only catches 3 fish (out of 5) but tomorrow will be better. Day three, no better, he didn't catch any fish. The tournament is over. No check, No prize...~$8,000 down the tubes! Next tournament is Lake Roosevelt, just out side of Phoenix in two weeks! Good Luck!

Today I Did This

Our New Campsite

The tournament starts tomorrow so we moved to our new "home" - The Launch Ramp. But look at our view, even Gracie can appreciate it.

Duane's Tan Lines

Duane fished the first day by himself - I was busy in Reno working for the Pig Tail Food Flipper! He wanted to get a nice tan so he took his shirt off. When he realized he maybe getting burned he decided to put a little sun block on! Well you can see what a fantastic job he did with that. He could only reach so far...he even has a nice hand print on his left side.

Three Palms Resort

I drove from Reno to Lake Havasu, AZ last night, it took about 10 hours but Gracie kept me up! When I finally got there I pulled in next to the motor home and went to bed. The next day I realized we were staying at the Three Palms Resort! It's quiet and we don't have any neighbors. Gracie can run and poop wherever she wants!

Pig Tail Food Flipper

I just finished working a convention at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, the Home and Hearth Show. This is a show that specializes in fire places and bar-be-ques and all the accessories to go with them. I had the great opportunity to work for the Pig Tail Food Flipper. This is a device that replaces spatulas, tongs and forks. It's crazy! Just poke it in, turn your wrist and your food is flipped.

Welcome To My Blog

So I LOVE facebook! I want to write all the time, so I figured this was a good way to do it. I will probably be posting a lot of dumb fishing stuff, but we'll see. Feel free to comment on anything or make fun of me...whatever. I hope you like reading about all the adventures I am having! Have a great day!
